ABOUT CANNABIS CAN!
Cannabis Can! is a community organization to bring the cannabis industry businesses together to support the communities that have graciously supported us. Founded by Dr. Bridget Williams from Green Harvest Health in 2019, Dr. Williams wants to change the stigma of cannabis and also thank our neighbors. “Ohio has welcomed cannabis businesses into their communities and we should give back to those communities while working together.”
With the onset of Covid-19 in 2020, Cannabis Can! was requested by area leaders to start up again. The cannabis industry has been considered an essential business by the State of Ohio. There has been a 40% increase in food bank demands. Children are out of school and many adults are laid off during this time. To keep individuals safe with physical distancing, Cannabis Can! is going virtual! Our partner businesses are placing posters in the open businesses and encouraging their patrons to give online to the campaign which goes directly to the food banks. Partners are offering discounts to customers that give online. By supporting the food banks you are supporting your neighbors. To further this campaign, Lorien Hill-Purcell is the new director of Cannabis Can! She brings a wealth of non-profit and project management experience.
